Lifehouse Theater to present journey of ‘Pilgrim’s Progress’
REDLANDS — LifeHouse Theater will spotlight the journey of Christian toward the Celestial City during a summer performance of “Pilgrim’s Progress,” the immortal best-selling classic by John Bunyan.
Described as a stylish musical, the production features thrilling encounters with angels, devils and giants.
Performances begin at 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 2 and will continue on weekends through Sept. 7. Performances are 7:30 p.m. Fridays, 2:15 and 7:30 p.m. Saturdays and 2:15 p.m. Sundays. An additional Thursday evening performance will be offered at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 4. The Aug. 16 performances will feature interpreted presentations for the hearing impaired.
Advance ticket prices are $12 or $17 for adults and $6 or $9 for children ages 3 to 11. Children under the age of 3 will not be admitted.
Tickets may be purchased over the phone at (909) 335-3037, ext. 21 or at the box office, which is open from 1 to 6 p.m. Fridays and one hour prior to and during weekend performances. Tickets are $1 more the day of the performance. Group rates are available for groups of 10 or more.
The theater is located at 1135 N. Church St. in Redlands, next to the Redlands Christian School. Free parking is available in the back of the theater.
Concert to benefit missions trip
CORONA — Generate, the young adult ministry at Crossroads Church, will host a benefit concert for a missions trip to Kenya.
The concert begins at 7 p.m. Aug. 13.
Phil Wickham will be the featured performer.

Youth convention planned for Ontario
ONTARIO — The Youth GANG Convention 2008 will be held July 23 to 25 at the Ontario Convention Center. The conference, which stands for God’s Anointed Now Generation, will include nightly worship services and daytime workshop sessions.
The event is sponsored by Victory Outreach International.
Prior to the conference, the GANG Leadership Training Sessions will be held July 22 and 23 at the Double Tree Hotel Ballroom.
Online registration is available for $100 through July 18. The cost afterward will be $120.

Revival Christian adds expansion campus
MURRIETA — Revival Christian Fellowship has launched an extension campus at Tovashal Elementary School. The 10 a.m. services will feature Revival Pastor Gary Galbraith’s weekly message via video from the Menifee campus. The extension will also offer children’s ministry for children from nursery through fifth grade.
A fellowship time start at 9:30 a.m.

Leadership summit to broadcast in SoCal
LOS ANGELES — Willow Creek Association will host the “Leadership Summit,” a two-day conference which will be broadcast from its Illinois campus to churches across the country. The seminar will be held from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Aug. 7 and 8.
Three locations are planned for the Southland: Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, Hillside Community Church in Alta Loma, and The Crossing Church in Costa Mesa. A fourth session is set for San Diego County at Journey Community Church in La Mesa.
