Church to host monthly men’s outreach
CYPRESS — The Men’s Ministry at Cypress Church, as part of an outreach to help dads become better fathers, hosts a monthly All Pro Dad breakfast at Cypress Church. The breakfasts are held from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. on the first Saturday of each month

Cypress Church serves the communities of Buena Park, Cypress, Los Alamitos, Seal Beach, La Palma and surrounding areas.

The next scheduled breakfast is set for Aug. 2.

The church is located at 6143 Ball Road just east of Valley View.

Leadership summit to broadcast in SoCal
LOS ANGELES — Willow Creek Association will host the “Leadership Summit,” a two-day conference which will be broadcast from its Illinois campus to churches across the country. The seminar will be held from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Aug. 7 and 8.

Three locations are planned for the Southland: Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, Hillside Community Church in Alta Loma, and The Crossing Church in Costa Mesa. A fourth session is set for San Diego County at Journey Community Church in La Mesa.

Featured speakers will be Bill Hybels, senior pastor, Willow Creek Community Church; Craig Groeschel, senior pastor, LifeChurch.tv;

Brad Anderson, vice-chairman & CEO, Best Buy Inc.; Wendy Kopp, CEO and founder, Teach for America; John Burke, lead pastor, Gateway Community Church; Chuck Colson, chairman and founder, Prison Fellowship Ministries; Efrem Smith, senior pastor, The Sanctuary Covenant Church; Bill George, professor, Harvard Business School, and former CEO of Medtronics; Catherine Rohr, CEO and founder, Prison Entrepreneurship Program; Gary Haugen, CEO and founder, International Justice Mission.
