Choosing the Right Wedding

Congratulations! You just got engaged. An engagement is a statement from your partner that they love you and want to spend the rest of their lives together. And, by getting married, they are professing their love for each other and that legally they want to be bound together forever. The engagement is the easy part. Now the hard work really begins.

After announcing your engagement, the couple are faced with the task of what type of wedding they would like to have. Do they want a fairy tale wedding with hundreds of people in attendance at a church or would they just like a simple ceremony administered quietly. There are many different choices that couples have for the timeliness of weddings as well. You can get married in a span of a couple of days or the planning could take years. The choice is yours.

There are many factors that will be considered when you choose your wedding type. Among the factors is cost. A large traditional church wedding can cost thousands of dollars to put on, as compared to a civil wedding. The time frame is also something that needs to be considered. Due to circumstances some couples prefer to have a quicker wedding. And a big factor many times is family considerations. Many families would like to have a big wedding where all relatives and friends are invited, while others are not concerned about it.

Regardless of the type of wedding you and your fiancée would prefer, we have provided some information on several of the more popular types of weddings. Remember, the choice is yours!
